]]>From the beachfront ceremony with the ancient mountain village in the background to the first look in the middle of a crowded square, the romance from this elopement on the Almafi Coast radiates through the screen! We have to hand it to Amalfi Soirée, who the couple trusted with their big day, pressed flower details and a positively Positano color palette of yellow and blue are just a few of the details that we’re crushing on at the moment, and they knocked these trends out of the park! Keep scrolling to see more of these dreamy photos by Sergio Sorrentino and to read all about how they almost missed their flight!

Vow Renewal in Positano Where the Dress is as Pretty as the View
Madison and Chris took a leap of faith. Just two months before their vacation in Italy, they decided to add a bit of romance with a symbolic ceremony on the beach, just the two of them. Since there wasn’t enough time for a civil wedding abroad, they legally tied the knot on their way to the airport, which resulted in them almost missing the flight to Italy!
The day started at the hotel Buca di Bacco, one of the chicest places in Positano, on the Amalfi Coast, from where you can enjoy the incredible view of the hill of pastel-colored houses that descend towards the sea. Joanna Falanga’s team created an elegant semi-loose hairstyle for the bride that was perfect for her off-shoulder dress.
After getting ready, the couple met on the seafront and, surrounded by a joyful and curious crowd. Their first look was accompanied by the enthusiastic applause of the tourists. Together reached the hidden cove of Hotel Pupetto while the Fine Art film photographer Sergio Sorrentino took amazing portraits along the picturesque path that connects the main beach of Positano, known as “Spiaggia Grande”, to the locality of Fornillo.
Ravello Wedding Flowers created a jaw-dropping arrangement of roses, lisianthus, dahlias, and delphinium on the stone shoreline. The sunset light made the scene unreal and made the ancient watchtower of Fornillo shine like gold. The soothing sound of the waves was interrupted only by the sweet melody of guitar and violin. Madison and Chris exchanged their promise of love, guided by the celebrant, Marilena, from That’s Amore.
After a sparkling toast, the happy couple sailed on the traditional gozzo boat of Boat Experience Positano towards the horizon, the bride’s glossy blonde hair and her ravishing wedding dress fluttering in the air as they enjoyed the view of the Italian seaside village and the sunset aperitivo.
As the first stars began to dot the night sky, Madison and Chris took their places at the candle-lit dinner table and enjoyed the fresh-caught delights from Hotel Pupetto.

]]>In the heart of the Ozark Mountains, an enchanting scene unfolded at The Stone Chapel at Matt Lane Farm — an historic venue surrounded by lush greenery and timeless charm. This intimate styled shoot, thoughtfully crafted by a team of talented vendors, beautifully showcases the unique and personal ways love can be celebrated. From the romantic florals by Rose of Sharon Floral Design Studio to the deliciously curated menu by Vibrant Occasions Catering, every detail was thoughtfully crafted to create a magical evening for two.
Brittany Bloom Events & Design envisioned a romantic and cozy atmosphere for this couple, focusing on creating a personal celebration that felt both luxurious and intimate. The stone chapel, draped in ivy and nestled within the serene Arkansas landscape, provided the perfect backdrop. Its historic architecture, combined with the natural beauty of the surrounding gardens, set the stage for an unforgettable evening.
Chelsea Duff Photography captured every detail of this romantic evening, from the gentle glow of the setting sun to the intricate designs of the floral arrangements. With a focus on the couple’s connection and the beautiful setting, each photo tells the story of a love that is both timeless and uniquely their own.
Rose of Sharon Floral Design Studio brought the garden to life with a stunning array of summer blooms. Soft hues of lisianthus, ranunculus, and gomphrena were paired with the rich textures of ferns and ivy, creating a floral design that felt both whimsical and timeless. The altar area, where the couple could enjoy their nuptials, was enhanced with delicate floral touches, bringing a cohesive and elegant feel to the entire setting.
The sweetheart table, set against the backdrop of the landscape, was adorned with lush floral and ivy elements that echoed the natural beauty of the surroundings.
The menu, beautifully curated by Vibrant Occasions Catering, was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The appetizers were artfully displayed on an elegant gold showcase, offering a delightful array of flavors. Guests could savor crispy egg rolls stuffed with pepperoni and mozzarella, paired with a choice of San Marzano marinara or house-made ranch. The bacon-wrapped dates, filled with creamy goat cheese, were a decadent bite, while the mini Frito chili pies added a playful twist to a classic favorite. The creamy mac and cheese was served in mini martini glasses, topped with tender shredded BBQ pork, offering a comfort food experience with a gourmet touch. Po boy crostinis featured buttered toasted French baguette slices topped with crispy fried shrimp, cajun mayonnaise, roma tomato, and butter lettuce, providing a satisfying crunch with every bite.
For the main course, the couple enjoyed a strawberry salad bursting with fresh strawberries, seedless red grapes, toasted pecans, shredded parmesan cheese, grape tomatoes, and cucumbers, all drizzled with a tangy balsamic vinaigrette. The caprese salad featured heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, aged balsamic, and fresh basil, served with grilled crostini for a perfect balance of flavors.
The pasta course included garlic mizithra pasta, where angel hair pasta was tossed with mizithra cheese and browned butter, pancetta, sautéed garlic, and fresh mushrooms. The pistachio-crusted lamb chops, marinated and slow-braised to tender perfection, were finished with pomegranate molasses, crushed pistachio, and sumac onions for a rich and flavorful dish. The steak diane was thinly sliced and served over buttered egg noodles with fresh wild mushrooms, while the grilled steak and chicken kebabs, marinated in a savory blend of herbs and spices, were expertly grilled to a succulent finish.
Southern Sippery brought a touch of fun and flair to the evening with their charming mobile bar, nestled within the garden lounge area. The couple raised their glasses to love, savoring handcrafted cocktails in the relaxed and intimate setting. The mobile bar not only added a unique element to the shoot but also blended effortlessly with the natural surroundings, offering a playful contrast to the more traditional elements of the celebration.
The couple toasted their nuptials with old fashioneds thanks to a whiskey bar atop a vintage blue dresser complete with leather-bound bar books.
A two-tier minimalistic white cake from The Cake Occasion sat atop a stone bench with a lush garden-inspired backdrop of fern fronds and white roses. A mirror helped create depth of space, while gold candelabras tied the event design together across table areas.

]]>Imagine, you and the love of your life jet off to Tulum, Mexico. You wake up in your lovely suite to find your chic midi dress steamed and ready for you to put on, and a fragrant bouquet of flowers. Oh, yeah, we forgot to mention, you’re getting married! You make your way down the stairs of the estate where you’re staying and there he is, your soon to be hubby waiting for your by the most gorgeous rose and baby’s breath floral arch you’ve ever seen. The two of you (JUST THE TWO OF YOU) exchange hand-written vows before promising to spend together forever. Your lovely planner, Couco Nay, passes you a craft cocktail designed just for you and shows you to the pool where a table for two awaits. It’s draped in flowing white fabric that blows in the ocean breeze and while it’s an intimate dinner, your team went all out on the details. There’s even a champagne tower! That’s exactly what this couple’s wedding day looked like. And if you think it sounds amazing, just wait till you see it for yourself, captured in these gorgeous photos by Pinewood.

Disco Nights On The Prairie–A Fashion-forward Elopement That Is So Now
Celestial + Magical Elopement in Tulum, Mexico
Lindsey and JW reside in South Louisiana and had already been together for twelve years before their wedding day. They balance each other’s energy with opposite personalities; Lindsey is strong-willed and outgoing while JW is calm and reserved. Together they knew they wanted their wedding day to be unique and intimate. Because Lindsey and LW were so easy to work with, we were able to plan their elopement in just 3 weeks! They went with the flow every step of the way and it turned out to be a beautiful wedding that left us all excited and in love.
Lindsey and JW were engaged in Tulum in November of 2021, in the same AirBnB that they would one day prepare for their wedding day in. After taking a year to both enjoy their engagement and plan a local wedding in New Orleans, things were not lining up to be what they had hoped for. After many troubles, they both felt like they were being pushed in a different direction and decided to focus on their wedding day being about just the two of them. With the decision made to return to Tulum for an intimate elopement, and less than a month to plan, all of their dream vendors fell into place so naturally.
For their elopement, the couple wanted the design to be minimal, neutral, and timeless, with modern yet ethereal feelings throughout. The style of the table and the rest of the wedding was designed by Nayara, the Wedding Planner, following the minimalist and romantic style of the couple. Fabrics were added to the table to give a sense of fluidity and coziness even though they were so far from home, as well as adding a touch of style and contemporary design. The plates, glasses, napkins, even the cake towers, and cake details were chosen just for this wedding, as it was very important that it was unique to Lindsey and JW.
The bride decided on this dress one week before flying to Mexico. It was the first thing ordered off of the internet that fit, and it was the perfect compliment to the Mexican venue and style of the wedding. Just one more thing that was meant to be!
The groom also dressed up for the occasion in a black tuxedo with black buttons and a black bowtie. After the ceremony, the bride slipped into an adorable white jumpsuit with voluminous off-the-shoulder sleeves that mimicked her dress from the ceremony.
The bouquet was designed by Grisel Serrano in the shape of a heart and was composed of roses, phalaenopsis orchids, ranunculus, tulips, and anthurium. The boutonniere was made from ranunculus and eucalyptus.
The couple selected three craft cocktails for their private after-party that were crafted by the bar at Kima, the venue. They also toasted with some sparkling rosé after pouring a champagne tower for two.
Swathed in white fabric, this romantic table setting was the perfect end to the perfect day. There were candles in hurricane vases of different heights both on the table and on the ground that provided dancing candlelight as the sun began to set. Artisan stoneware housed petite floral arrangements and tapered candles to create a tablescape that blended beautifully with the venue’s Wabi-sabi aesthetic.
Both the bride and groom adore sweets, especially chocolate! This was not the traditional wedding cake choice, but they wanted their favorite to enjoy.

]]>The post A glamorous and intimate surprise elopement in the heart of Bordeaux appeared first on Weddingchicks.
]]>Lovebirds Katrina and Andrew Fahey came from the Golden Coast, Australia, where they live with their three children Ethan, Amber and Sienna to get married in Bordeaux, in France. They decided to say “Yes!” to each other in France, where it all began for them several years ago. Since their love story began in Paris (at the Eiffel Tower precisely), what could be more romantic than a surprise elopement at this iconic place?
Keep reading to see how Charlotte Poésie Wedding Planner brought their dazzling vision to life – while surprising ten of the couple’s closest friends and family. All photography was beautifully captured by Koral Bleu.
The day before the wedding, after a romantic stroll through the streets of Bordeaux, Andrew and Katrina bought their wedding rings from a major jeweler in Bordeaux, Mornier.
Katrina asked Agence Charlotte Poésie to source several dresses in Paris 4 days before the wedding, as she only had one afternoon to try on and find her dress. Katrina chose a glamorous and unconventional long dress embroidered with multiple shades of gold, designed by Elie Saab. Paris is a city of mode after all – making this unique choice an absolute statement piece.
Family was at the heart of this destination elopement! Kat and Andy are passionate about travel, Europe especially, they travel there regularly. After a stopover in Paris for a few days to visit, they came to Bordeaux with 10 guests: their family and friends for holidays, very close to Saint-Emilion, a charming little village. They surprised all their close family and friends on July 6 at their wedding at the five stars hotel InterContinental Grand Hotel in Bordeaux.
Music was very present for this wedding, with 2 live bands and a DJ from Satisfaction Event. A classic live band consisting of a violinist, guitarist and flutist begins the ceremony with Kat & Andy’s love song, “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley. A truly emotional moment was when Katrina made her ceremony entrance to this special musical accompaniment. Blanca Bertely created the ceremony in 2 weeks with some calls and mail exchanges with the couple. After the ceremony, the live band then followed them onto the hotel rooftop to play some jazzy tunes.
Charlotte Poésie Wedding Planner‘s ceremony design for Katrina and Andrew was in osmosis with the Intercontinental Grand Hotel de Bordeaux, the colors red, powder pink, white, nude, allowed to accentuate this “Frenchie” side, graphic flowers by Les Mauvaises Herbes were selected, including traditional pink and red roses.
The modernity of the floral design by Les Mauvaises Herbes and Kartell crystal chairs furniture blends with the classic and historic design of the place to bring balance and best represent the couple.
This wedding was organized by the Charlotte Poésie Wedding Planner Agency, based in France, which imagined everything in 4 weeks and photographed by Rebecca Patterson from Koral Bleu, based in Seattle.

“They wanted this elopement to be elegant but casual, open hearted, unexpected… The bride and groom were really very relaxed and experienced their elopement 100%.” – Charlotte Poésie Wedding Planner
The reception took place in this iconic place Intercontinental Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux, with a Haussmanian facade, French ceilings, and crystal chandeliers of the Sauternes room listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They chose this iconic venue paired with French gastronomy, great Bordeaux wines, red geraniums on the balconies, all the French codes brought together to experience this elopement.
Touches of gold with graphic porcelain plates signed Bernardaud and Cutipol cutlery – a rental by Maison Options, and the letterpress stationery designed by Le Studio Wallace completed the reception set up.
The bride and groom enjoyed local hors d’oeuvres with oysters from the Arcachon Basin, foie gras and champagne at the cocktail reception, followed by a 3-course dinner of French gastronomy prepared by the chef of the Intercontinental Grand Hotel in Bordeaux. They were also able to taste some of Bordeaux’s finest wines, which Andrew wanted sommelier service for, and offered to their friends.
“The couple were determined to perform karaoke with their friends during their wedding. The French gourmet dinner took place in the Sauternes lounge, punctuated by some wild karaoke between courses on iconic music for the couple such as “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. The evening continued with a DJ set on the rooftop where Katrina and Andrew and their loved ones were able to enjoy cocktails, singing “Turn” by Nathalie Imbruglia of course.”
The couple cut their wedding cake with their children, before they were looked after by babysitters in their suite. They wanted their children to experience and take part in the moment, and to be able to taste this wedding cake revisited in the French style.

]]>Looking for a breathtaking and truly unique adventure elopement, but don’t know where to begin? This couple navigated the best tips and tricks to make the destination wedding of their dreams come to life (so you don’t have to!)
Kelsey & Matthew wanted a relaxed yet still adventurous elopement day in the magnificent Dolomite mountains of northern Italy. Their original request was to exchange vows at Seceda, one of the most famous locations in the Dolomites. However, after realizing that Instagram and reality are very different, they chose a location only accessible by helicopter so that they could share their vows with only nature as a witness.
Keep reading to see their stunning mountaintop ceremony and the breathtaking portraits captured by Wild Connections Photography. Thank you to the amazing photography team for sharing their experienced guide to how to create your own destination “I do’s”!
When choosing an adventure elopement, it’s up to you if formal-wear is the right fit for your adventure. This couple opted for gorgeous designer attire, paired with hiking appropriate shoes for their exciting trek across the mountains! Bride, Kelsey, wore a boho, textured Grace Loves Lace gown with a sleek ponytail and radiant makeup by Viki Aichner.
The couple’s dreamy, warm palette floral accessories by Marie Floral Studio matched the natural colors of the gorgeous landscape.

Choosing a destination location can sometimes mean taking trains, planes, and automobiles – but for this Dolomite mountain range you’ll have to take a helicopter! Elikos Helicopter Service provided the amazing rides to the ceremony and photo locations.
Their second stop of the day was a stunning alpine lake, where they enjoyed a quiet picnic underneath the towering cliffs.
Finally, they were dropped off at a mountain refuge above the Cinque Torri, where they hiked back down the mountain and enjoyed a warm late lunch in the hut.
Wild Connections Photography kindly shared with us their top three pieces of advice to create an iconic and dreamy destination elopement, informed by their experience as a local photographer and hiking guide. Planning and design was provided by Jlenia Costner. If you want to have photography and planning that truly captures the beauty of a destination – be sure to find authentic vendors who know the ins and outs of the local scenery and culture!
The most famous locations in the Dolomites are often on the top of many couples’ top choices for an elopement. But what you don’t see in most of the photos you’ll find online are the crowds of people or the fences restricting access. The Dolomites have so much more to offer than just the famous locations, so work with a local like Jlenia Costner who can tailor your itinerary to avoid any of the tourist traps if you’re dreaming of a more intimate experience.
Picking the right time of year for your Dolomites elopement can be super important for several reasons, such as:
– Getting the scenery you have been dreaming about: If you want lush greens and wildflowers, come after the snow has melted and the grass is re-growing again. If you want mirror-like alpine lakes, you’ll need to know which lakes are seasonal, and when they are likely to be fuller and clearer.
– Understanding the differences between the seasons and the pros and cons of coming in the off-season vs. in the high season.
– Avoiding the times when crowds are at their biggest, access restrictions are in place in many locations, trailhead parking fills up fast, and accommodation prices are at their highest.- Understanding which areas are accessible at different times of the year and when certain spots/trails are likely to be snow-free and safe to access.
– Planning for seasonal weather trends, such as opting for a sunrise instead of sunset elopement in the months when evening storms are common.
It’s tempting to book a cute hotel or chalet in the mountains. And even though the Dolomites area might look quite small on a map, the mountain roads can make driving between areas long. Once you’ve chosen your elopement itinerary, book accommodation in that area to save hours of unnecessary driving.
Congratulations to Kelsey & Matthew on their stunning and bold elopement! Be sure to check out the full gallery of images by Wild Connections Photography for even more mountain magic.

]]>The post The couple rode off in a vintage Land Cruiser at their desert micro-elopement appeared first on Weddingchicks.
]]>Since Serena and Eric were drawn to each other by their mutual passion for adventure and love of the outdoors, it was fitting they should be married outdoors where they and their families could enjoy the amazing views surrounding them at The Joshua Tree House in Tucson. With only thirteen guests in attendance, the bride and groom wanted their wedding to be an intimate celebration – captured by R. Gonzalez Photography – that brought both of their families together. Fortuitously, Serena knew Nikki from Knoble Events, and she was confident that Nikki – with all of her connections in the area – would be able to pull off the wedding of her dreams.
Though finding a wedding venue was the most difficult part of the planning process, the Joshua Tree House had the perfect amount of space for their families. By renting the entire inn for four days, Serena and Eric were able to spend time with their loved ones amidst a desert oasis with hot springs, a cacti forest, a canyon pool, and access to nearby Saguaro National Park, which borders the inn’s property.
Having a photographer who could capture both gorgeous portraits and landscapes was vital since the natural surroundings were a huge part of what made Serena and Eric’s wedding so special. Since R. Gonzalez Photography was local to Sedona and resided in the mountains, they knew she would be able to capture everything beautifully.

A NYE disco-themed garden wedding in the Arizona desert
With the wedding being a cherished gathering of those closest to the bride and groom, Serena and Eric could focus on the details which would make the day memorable for all. The chosen color scheme of dusty rose, cream, and sage green provided a classic but romantic contrast to the natural tones found throughout the Joshua Tree House and the Saguaro landscape.
The tablescapes were one of the most important elements, and with this being one of Nikki’s areas of expertise, she was able to pull in elements that flowed together perfectly and added a luxurious touch to the meal. Floral arrangements by Posh Petals were paired with natural woven chargers, pink tapered candles in glass holders, tealights in glass votives, a delicate white table runner, and dainty pink cloth napkins.
Cafe a la Cart Tucson executed the elevated dinner the couple envisioned by providing food that was delicious and looked amazing, while also providing gluten-free options for the guests with dietary restrictions. Music by violinist Seline Eskandarian added to the romantic ambiance of both the ceremony and the reception.

]]>“La dolce vita”, or “the good life”, was exemplified by this fabulously stylish elopement in the heart of Rome. After falling in love with Italy during their travels the year before, Erin and Mike wanted to celebrate their “I do’s” against the beauty of the city. They aimed to have a relaxed day, enjoying the beauty of the local historical landmarks but also to have fun – enjoying a cooking class in lieu of a traditional dinner. This wedding is seriously dream destination elopement goals!
Keep reading to see every chic detail from their day, captured by Blancorazon Wedding Photography.
Erin wore a sexy, billowing gown from Giovanna Alessandro (a couture designer located in Ukraine). The dress was just the right amount of romantic to complement the vibe of the elopement and the style of Rome. Her dainty, short veil from the same bridal boutique, was the perfect touch to accent her natural glam makeup by Arianna Saura. The bride was sure to mention that her Arianna made her feel the most beautiful she’s ever felt!
The bride on finding “the one” dress:
“My dress is the Selena gown by Giovanna Alessandro. I purchased the dress from Fashion Dujour Bridal Boutique in Haddon Township, NJ with the help of the lovely shop owner, Olga. She had about a two week window to find and order my dress if she wanted it to come in time for our elopement in Italy! Within that two week window she went to four different bridal boutiques and it wasn’t until the last boutique that I found my gown. Going into her search she didn’t have her heart set on a specific style/fit, I just knew I wanted something timeless and more on the simple side that would compliment the beauty of Italy. My sister in law actually grabbed my dress off the rack at Fashion Dujour. I fell in-love with that dress as soon as I put it on. It felt timeless, romantic, and just the right amount of girly while still keeping true to myself with the simple details. My family with me that day said my face, glow, and body language changed completely when I put that dress on and they knew it was the one as well!”
The bride’s bountiful bouquet by Sara Tusset Weddings was actually designed to match her wedding gown! Sara absolutely blew Erin away with the bouquet she created! She came up with the beautiful design based on her dress, accessories, and one request for white flowers and baby’s breath.
Choosing whether or not to elope can be a big decision – but for Erin and Mike the decision was an easy one! The ethereal beauty of Rome served as the dreamiest backdrop for their intimate ceremony with just the two of them in attendance.
“Even before being engaged, Mike and I felt a traditional wedding was just not right for us. We traveled to Italy for a three week vacation during college when we were about 20 years-old and absolutely fell in love with it. The culture, architecture, history, and ambiance of every city we visited had us falling in love with the country more and more. During our trip we actually made a vow that whenever we get married, we were going to get married in Italy. So when the time came to make the decision between eloping or having a traditional wedding, it was pretty easy for Mike and I to decide eloping and we knew exactly where we were going to do it!We wanted our elopement day to be surrounded by our love for each other and allow us to have fun in a city we shared a love for! I think Mike and I successfully planned a day with Patrizia’s (Blancorazon Wedding Photography) help that captured just that. From our first look at the top of our Airbnb to running through Rome together and ending the day with a fun pizza making class, Mike and I were so happy with our decision.” -Bride, Erin

Choosing to elope was a decision that came easily to both of us. We never envisioned having a traditional wedding. While we would have loved to celebrate with all our loved ones in a grand way, we knew it wasn’t the right choice for us. We wanted this day to be solely about us, focusing on each other completely. When we looked into each other’s eyes on our elopement day, we knew we had made the right decision. The effort we put into our elopement and honeymoon was exclusively for us, and that was incredibly important to us. Our families and friends were incredibly supportive of us. We’ve been fortunate to celebrate with our loved ones in various ways, and their understanding and happiness have made this journey even more special!
Nestled in the heart of the Italian Lake District, Lake Como is renowned for its breathtaking beauty and timeless allure. It was the perfect backdrop for an intimate celebration of love. We chose the Grand Hotel Tremezzo as the location for our elopement because we were looking for a truly luxurious and special spot to celebrate this intimate moment. We wanted our elopement to be just as meaningful and memorable as a traditional wedding, and the Grand Hotel Tremezzo was the perfect choice for that. What made it even more special is that I work for a luxury travel company, and the hotel was in our portfolio, so we knew it was a unique place. Additionally, the fact that it’s right next door to Villa Carlotta, where we had our intimate ceremony, made it even more perfect for us. The moment we walked in, it felt like we were transported into a scene from a Wes Anderson film.
My wedding dress is from House of CB. When it came to selecting a gown, I wanted something that was both special and in tune with the fact that we were eloping. I did go dress shopping once, but I didn’t find anything that spoke to me. I actually stumbled upon my dress on social media of all places, and it was love at first sight. It was the perfect choice for me, for Italy, and for the romantic atmosphere of our elopement.
When you’re eloping, sure, it would be easy to just get ready together in the same room, but it’s definitely worth investing in a little time apart, time to build the anticipation. And as long as you two are getting ready separately, you may as well do a first look. We promise you won’t regret it!
My engagement ring was a collaborative creation from a local custom jeweler, The Diamond Reserve. We were very intentional about this process and decided to design the ring together. It was a precious time for us, and I was genuinely surprised when we got engaged. Our wedding bands are from David Yurman. My engagement ring is white gold, and I opted for two delicate pave yellow gold bands to stack, creating a beautiful contrast. Ethan chose a three-row band in sterling silver with pave black diamonds. Our rings hold great significance for us and symbolize our love beautifully.
The couple, radiating joy and love, exchanged their vows on a secluded terrace overlooking the lake. With only the sound of gentle waves lapping against the shore as their soundtrack, their words of commitment carried across the water, touching the hearts of all who were present. It was an intimate affair, with the couple surrounded by the timeless beauty of Lake Como, and their love filled the air.
Following the ceremony, we enjoyed an intimate boat ride on a Riva boat around the stunning Lake Como. We then returned to the Grand Hotel Tremezzo and concluded the day with a delightful tasting menu at La Terrazza Gualtiero Marchesi. All of our plans before and after the ceremony were expertly coordinated with the assistance of the amazing Grand Hotel Tremezzo concierge team.

Tuscany Comes To Napa In This Italian-Inspired Dream Wedding
Our theme was “Barefoot In Tuscany” where we wanted to feature an effortless high-end atmosphere that felt luxurious but also free and easy. This design was unique because it didn’t feature many florals or design details. Rather this shoot focused solely on the couple, their connection, and their love. This type of shoot is sometimes even harder to execute due to the fact that nothing can be camouflaged by pretty flowers or extravagant tabletop details. Really this type of shoot puts more pressure on the couple as well as the vendor team to create a relaxing atmosphere for the couple to feel comfortable enough to really lean into the shoot concept.
We chose the beautiful Bella Cosa Wedding and Event Venue located in Lake Wales Florida in order to play off of the beautiful “stone-like” plaster walls and intricate columns that reminded us of old-world Italian architecture. We were able to create a relaxing atmosphere by playing Italian Countryside music that seemed to really relax our couple and brought us to a place of unpretentious glamor that featured our model even taking her shoes off to truly be “barefoot in Tuscany!” We loved this moment where the groom helped our bride unbuckle her heels, and heighten her reverie state. You can see their love JUMP through these images.
The bride wore a minimalist strapless mermaid gown with off-the-shoulder pearl-embellished tulle sleeves. For her second look, she slipped into an elegant backless halter with a thigh-high slit that echoed the laid-back vibe of the wedding design. We love that they styled the groom in a tuxedo, bow tie and all because it added a level of luxe to the otherwise pared-down affair.
Our team really wanted to incorporate lemons into the design. We felt that the touch of citrus really helped bring a unique color to the mostly neutral pallet as well as tie together our shoot. The Amalfi Coast and Sorrento area produce several different kinds of lemons and we felt strongly that we wanted to feature them–we snuck them into almost every scene!
Allow yourself to be whisked away on your wedding day and don’t let anything break your reverie! Take your shoes off, run barefoot through the courtyard, drink champagne, and kiss as many times as you can!
